Started when the first pandemic confinement hit, this is content that celebrates my past and informs a fresh vision forward. I have a fascination for experimental and challenging music and use it to inspire my creativity and many aspects of my daily drifts, so music does take center stage here. Glad if it resonates with you in some way and you discover something new here, in which case you should explore more and support the artists. Curated by Jorge Sampaio.

I am always in awe when listening to this album and specialy this second movement - the longest and quietest - of the album. It always reveals a very particular shade of emotion as it brings some tasty old memories of around the same time this was released back in 2003 (Xmas day to be precise)... as it often happens when you listen to music that was played/playing during a significant life event. Because of such memories this track always feels nocturnal and wintery... cold and warm at the same time, like a drive at very late hours, window down, cigarette in hand summoning the deep thoughts.

Interview - Aidan Baker

"... For me, the best collaborations are those which go in unexpected directions, which expose me to new sounds and techniques, or take my music somewhere other than I would myself...this doesn't always happen, or it happens in degrees, but the simple process of working with someone else is (almost always) rewarding.
