I have a fascination for subcultures, specially those with a close-knit relationship with leftfield and challenging music, so music does take center stage here. Glad if it resonates with you in some way and you discover something new here, in which case you should explore more and support the artists.

Band: SLUG
Album: The 3 Man Themes (1996)
Track: Oh Yeah! (07:11)
Criminally underrated band from the fertile early 90's LA scene. I don't care much for CAN but I do like this cover of CAN's Oh Yeah! specially the last 2 minutes where it becomes a behemoth of noise-rock with that massive distorted bass taking the lead. Oh yeah, its high times.

Band: LOVE AND ROCKETS
Album: Express (1986)
Track: Love Me (03:54)

Band: NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS
Album: The Firstborn is Dead (1985)
Track: Knockin' on Joe (07:38)

Band: LOVE & ROCKETS
Album: Seventh dream of Teenage Heaven (1985)
Track: Saudade (04:59)
