When Capricorns folded, I placed my hopes in fellow countryman Latitudes, who put out a very promising debut in 2009 but their sound became too progressive and that just didn’t work for me. Enter Palehorse the flag bearers for inventive (2 basses) modern noise tainted post-metal with their blend of Isis meets Old man Gloom (!). it didn’t last and that is a shame because post-metal needs a fair share of innovative bands to keep relevant amongst so much quality hardcore/noise.
