Did Red Harvest ever sound like Neurosis? yes, in their final albums and in ‘Hole in Me’ both vocalist and band are pretty much on point, for at least the initial minutes that take for the double bass drum to kick in.. it’s like a forgotten track from the ‘Enemy of the Sun’ era. Jim Bergsten sounds a lot like Scott Kelly. This was Red Harvest’s swan song and they were last seen playing live in Oslo on the 24th October 2009 to mark the 20th anniversary of the band’s formation. In retrospect, and much to everyone’s disgust, Scott Kelly’s also made sure to break up the band he helped form nearly 40 years ago, with last August announcement that he had been fired in 2019. All good things must come to an end. Two bands with very different output and fan base but equally missed.
