Keijo Haino and Sumac collaborate for the third time. Like the ones before, this again captures Haino and the three members of Sumac live on stage, navigating a series of spontaneous compositions in front of an attentive audience, with no prior discussions or planning involving the direction of the music. Spontaneity through collaboration runs throughout this mix. The mix ends with the first track I have ever heard by The body, back in 2010, on headphones, on the beach. I was not prepared for the sludgy explosion that followed 7 minutes of a most delicate choir. I was not prepared for the this band in my life.
