IS IT SAFE TO BUY FROM PORTCORNER.COM?



Yes, we use industry standard SSL encryption to protect your details (as testified by the small padlock to the left of our domain and the "s" after http...). Potentially sensitive information such as your name, address and payment details are encoded so they can only be read on our secure server.

WHAT CURRENCIES CAN I USE TO BUY?



You can browse our store choosing to view the prices in Euros (€), Pound Sterling (£) and US Dollars ($). Just click on the small currency icon on the top right corner of the site and choose accordingly.

Please note that at checkout you will be charged in EURO and your payment will be processed in EURO.

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?



We accept payments by all major Debit/Credit Cards, Paypal and Bank Transfer.

THE ITEM I JUST BOUGHT IS NOW ON SALE, CAN I GET THE DIFFERENCE REFUNDED?



As an online business our prices change in accordance with sales trends and objectives, customer demand and stock availibility. We are unable to refund the difference in price when an item you have purchased goes into sale, although we do appreciate how frustrating this can be if you buy an item full price and its available on sale the next day.

You can of course return the item for a full refund and then re-order the item at its markdown price, provided it is returned in accordance with our returns policy. Please note, we cannot guarantee that another customer won't purchase this item first, so we recommend you make the purchase right away if you intend to return the original item so to secure the item.

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE "MADE TO ORDER"?



Certain styles from our Portcorner shoe collection are "Made to Order". The styles which are "Made to Order" are identified. Please look for the "Made to Order" mention in the product description. If there's no "Made to Order" in the products description then the product is in stock and ready to ship!.

HOW DOES YOUR "MADE TO ORDER" WORK?



Our "Made to Order" styles are individually produced for you upon receipt of your order. Each pair will be made upon receipt of order and shipped in approximately 5 working days.
With our "Made to Order" collection, exchanges can be made or we can issue store credit only but we will not issue refunds. If you wish to exchange or return your shoes for a store credit, please submit an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request by email.

ORDERING

HOW DO I KNOW THE ORDER HAS BEEN SUBMITTED SUCCESSFULLY?



You will receive a confirmation email from our system right after you submit an order. This email has all the necessary information regarding the order placed, such as items purchased, delivery and billing address and amount paid.

You will receive a further dispatch confirmation email once your order has been packed and is ready to leave our warehouse, this may already have the information for the tracking nr. If not, you will receive a thid, final email from us with this tracking nr. moments after the delivery van left the building!

DO YOU OFFER VAT DISCOUNT FOR NON-EU CUSTOMERS?



Yes. Customer's ordering from outside the European Union will receive a 23% VAT discount on the Recommended Retail price.
This is applied to all products in the website as soon as you register with us and choose a Shipping address outside the EU.

You can verify this straight away by changing your status from being Logged in and Logged out. When you're Logged out and are therefore browsing the store as a guest, the site shows the price with the 23% tax added, in accordance with the Portuguese VAT system.
When you Log in and you have specified a non-EU shipping address, our site activates the discount automatically so you can browse the store and see exactly what you will pay at checkout (+ shipping charges).

WHERE IS MY ORDER?



If your order has not arrived when you were expecting it then please check the following:

1. Check you have received a dispatch confirmation email.
2. Check the tracking link via your dispatch confirmation email to view the most up to date information on the whereabouts of your parcel.
3. Check within MY ACCOUNT. Is your delivery address correct? Are your contact details up to date?

Check for text messages, emails and attempted delivery cards from one of our couriers. Your parcel may be awaiting collection at a local delivery depot or you may need to re-arrange delivery.

Check no one else residing at your address has taken receipt of your parcel.

If you still can't locate your parcel then please get in touch with us immediately.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TRADING?



The Portcorner online store started trading in October 2015.

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?



If your order has been placed, but not dispatched - you will know this if you still didnt get an email from us with the shipping confirmation and tracking nr. - we will make the change or cancellation straight away wherever possible.

Please note we can make no guarantees to change orders prior to shipping but we will try our best to do so. If you have already received your goods then we are happy to cancel or make changes in accordance with our Returns Policy.
